GOD is a Jealous GOD because He is Offended and Furious when His People worship another god other than Himself. GOD’s Name is Jealous for GOD is a Jealous GOD. The LORD leveled a plague upon the Children of Israel for their whoring with the Moabite women that led GOD’S People to idolatry, bowing down to their Moabite gods, infuriating The LORD their GOD. NUMBERS 26.1 The plague killed 24,000 Israelites. So with that said, let’s read Numbers 26.1-7.
